Lancing Sensor (LS®) Technology

The old standard of glucose testing requires the user to handle strips, encode meters, prick their finger with a lancet, and squeeze blood to the surface, all just to take a single test. In-hospital glucose testing often requires similar procedures.

The LS™ fine needle automatically penetrates the skin to a depth sufficient to acquire a blood sample. The blood acquisition and analysis is rapid and takes  approximately 3 seconds to complete.

Upon completion of the glucose test, the LS™ needle is  retracted and the used Sensor Module is discarded. Discarded Sensor Modules have no exposed sharps and do not present a biohazard for normal household disposal.

Trio LS® Unique Features

  • Trio LS® Brings the sensor to the blood sample (Virtually eliminating all use errors).
  • Trio LS® No lancets, no strips (Up to 20 tests with disposable , self contained cartridge).
  • Trio LS® Provides virtually pain-free testing (for most diabetics).
  • Trio LS® No blood droplet (No blood visible posting testing for most diabetics).
  • Trio LS® Fastest-obtains blood glucose values in under 3 seconds.
  • Trio LS® Optional testing on forearm or fingertip
  • Trio LS® Meter system is smaller (Than any all-in-one system no on the market).
